Preparing for Travel After COVID-19

With the recent announcement of a new COVID-19 vaccine that will be made available in the coming months, people are already beginning to look forward to a return to travel.

For nearly nine months, the world’s population has taken a hiatus from traveling as the COVID-19 virus spread worldwide. Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, travelers are already beginning to make plans for trips in 2021. As they take advantage of exceptional vacation deals, many choose to visit dream locations to celebrate their travel comeback.

Popular post-Covid travel spots include:

The Pamir Highway, Tajikistan & Kyrgystan

Considered one of the best off the beaten path road trips, this drive is a once-in-a-lifetime getaway. The Pamir Highway extends through Tajikistan and Kyrgystan and along the mountains of the Pamir that border Afghanistan. One of the highest international roadways in the world, The Pamir is both majestic and scenic. Taking you up to 4,655m, you will drive through small local villages surrounded by snowy mountains. Those who drive the Pamir say that they are astonished by the magnificent natural beauty and splendor that awaits around each corner’s turn. The Pamir area was also one of the few places in the world where Covid-19 outbreaks were scarce.

Trekking in New Zealand

Already recognized as a superb travel destination, New Zealand was also one of the first counties that flattened the curve of Covid.  Following Covid, it will undoubtedly be considered one of the safest places in the world to visit.

Such a gift to the world, New Zealand has an abundance of untouched nature that is ideal for hiking and exploring. Awe-inspiring landscapes are easily accessible by the many hiking trails that traverse the entire country. These scenic routes come in various difficulty levels, so there is something for every traveler to enjoy. Two of the most popular Great Walks are the Routeburn Track and the Abel Tasman Coast Track.

Salar De Uyuni, Bolivia

One South American region that has been the least affected by Covid is Bolivia’s largest salt flat, Salar De Uyuni. Travel by jeep to this remote area in a magnificent mountainous region of Bolivia. At night, sleep in a hotel made entirely of salt and be amazing at the brilliant night sky and the endless expanse of stars that will take your breath away. During the day, enjoy this otherworldly expanse with its bright-white salt landscape and unique rock formations amidst cacti-studded islands, which makes this location unlike any other place you have ever seen.
